Thursday's Stage 4 of the Vuelta Castilla y León was an exciting day for CycleOps Powered Athlete Xavier Tondo of Team Andalucía-Cajasur. The Spaniard raced with his CycleOps PowerTap and shared his data. The stage consisted of 145 kilometers with two significant climbs. At less than 50 km into the stage, a break got away from the main group. In it was Tondo and 10 others. On the final climb, with 20 km to go, Tondo attacked. He left his break companions behind, and went solo for 18 km. Unfortunately, he was unable to hold away his chasers and was caught with less than 2 km to the finish. He finished the stage at 12th place.
