Will the Garmin CAD 305 work as well, it is not color. How long before the wireless powertap 2.4 support Ant+? 2008 is very vague.

We are targeting Fall of 2008 for release of the ANT+Sport™ PowerTaps. The Plus series PowerTaps are compatible with any ANT+Sport™ devices. The device manufacturer's website should have information as to whether your device is ANT+Sport™ compatible. I took a look at the technical specifications for the Garmin 305 on Garmin's website, and it says that the 305 does not display power data from compatible 3rd party ANT+Sport™-enabled power meters (https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=160&pID=331). If you are interested in a Garmin device, their website notes that the Edge 705 does display power data from compatible 3rd party ANT+Sport™-enabled power meters (https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=160&pID=10885).

I have two PT 2.4 wheels .. will these be "upgradeable" to be compatible with ANT+Sport devices? Or do they work already?

If you have a wireless PowerTap already, there will be an updater that you can use to update the software inside of your hub to make it compatible with ANT+ Sport. Additional information will be posted to our website and included in our CycleOps Power newsletter when it is available.

What is the current status regarding the ANT+ sport hub updater. Although there is a scheduled fall release of updated hubs, when will the actual updater be rolled out? Is there any additional information regarding price and whether the updater will work multiple times or only once for each hub?
