Saris Home Storage Given 2015 Good Design Award

In the Permanent Design Collection of The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

When we teamed up with award-winning furniture designer, John Kaloustian to create our designer bike furniture line - we knew we were in for a treat. Kaloustian's aesthetically driven design background made him the perfect person to unite function with beauty to create perfectly crafted pieces of bike storage that is both easy on the eyes – and on the bike.

Our joint vision came to fruition in the fall of 2014 with the release of The Boss, The Hottie and The Show Off. Now we're excited to share the latest exciting news about this unique line of home bicycle storage: the prestigious GOOD DESIGN™ Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Founded in Chicago in 1950, GOOD DESIGN™ remains the oldest and the world's most recognized program for design excellence worldwide.

For 2015, the Museum received submissions from several thousand of the world's leading manufacturers and industrial and graphic design firms from around the world representing the most important and critical mass of influential corporations worldwide in the design industry from over 47 countries.

In November, juries met in New York and selected over 900 product designs and graphics from over 38 nations worthy of the GOOD DESIGN™ Award for their Design Excellence.

All awards are posted on the Museum's website soon at www.chi-athenaeum.org and www.europeanarch.eu.
