PowerAgent 7 will attempt to install into a folder called ‘PowerAgent’. If this folder already exists from a previous version of the Power Agent 7 series, you can install the software right over the top of your previous version. If you are upgrading from PowerAgent 5, you should install the software into a different directory and uninstall PowerAgent 5.0.
VERY IMPORTANT Before uninstalling PowerAgent 5.0, export all of your ride data. Exported ride data will save to the location ‘PowerAgent/Data/Export’. Copy the contents of this folder to a safe location on your computer. When you uninstall PowerAgent 5.0 this folder will be wiped out and you will lose all your ride history if you do not copy the contents of this folder and move it out of this directory.
Once you have done this, go to Control Panel → Add/Remove Programs and uninstall PowerAgent 5.0.
