It simply does not work. I am not stupid, have been riding bikes for decades, have a degree in mechanical engineering and this shifter does not work. The cable always carries too much tension no matter the setup position. The lever on the shifter cannot overcome the cable tension so it always slams into the down position. The instructions are also different from the setup video online. Unless my shifter is faulty, which it doesn’t look broken. This is a flawed design that would work in theory but doesn’t work in reality.
